| | Unable to access files within Personal Libraires. New to FolderShare and not finding it intuitive. Installed Foldershare on 3 PCs (1 Vista 2 XP PRO). Created Personal Library from files residing on Vista PC. Want to access these files from XP PCs. All folders display padlock - meaning? Cannot access any files via FolderShare website. Does this mean I need to create Shared Libraries rather than Personal Libraries? If so does the function of a Personal Library dictate the file you want syncronised needs to already reside on each machine i.e. you first need to copy all data across and thereafter it remains synchronised? This seems a clumsy way to operate but I'm assuming I'm missing the obvious so some help would be appreciated. |

| | RE: Unable to access files within Personal Libraires. Figured it out - eventually! Web interface is to my mind a little confusing. I overlooked "Sync with a new computer" as I took this to mean a computer that had not previously had FolderShare installed on it - why just not state "Choose computer/s to Sync with". Now I've got this worked out I can see why the general consensus is overwhelmingly positive.
