Vista - Shortcuts (.lnk) not synced. Why?

Bughunter n/a posts	Shortcuts (.lnk) not synced. Why? I wanted to synchronize the two Links folder located at C:\Users\UserName\Links\ and since they contain only shortcuts FolderShare says they contain 0 files. Is there any way to work around this?
