I'm not sure what issue they are having, but so much downtime is a terrible customer experience. "Compared to what?" That is not a good argument to deal with upset customers. A better explanation as to the issues surrounding the outage would be a better approach. Thank you for the person who recommended PowerFolder... at $50 odd dollars per year for 5GB, it is very attractive and guess what, I can have it installed, up and running before FolderShare gets back online after their "Maintenance". | | RE: Urgent Maintenance (10/23) Sounds like they're doing the "out-of-band" security patch that Microsoft released on 10/23. It's a BIG bug, and I suggest all Windows users do the same and update. When considering the hundreds (perhaps thousands) of servers for Foldershare that need to be updated, 24 hours sounds reasonable to me...
