No connection all day Sunday PDT

Foldershare is just hanging on "Connecting" for the last 4+ hours.

Anyone else having trouble?

Yep, I'm having the same trouble here too. These guys certainly know how to
push the term "Beta" to its limits. Ho hm....

RE: No connection all day Sunday PDT

I, too, am having this problem but also something else strange... When I go
to the FolderShare site, it shows one computer online and one offline.
Here's the strange part, the offline computer is actually the one that I am
logged in with and viewing the site! How can I be logged in and viewing
everything but offline at the same time??

RE: No connection all day Sunday PDT

It must be that your FS client is not logged into the server but you are
logged into the web interface. That's pretty normal.

I haven't been able to log in either. Apparently there were some uptime
between the end of maintenance and the start of not being able to connect to
server because of the 3 computers on my network, one is logged in while the
other two isn't. The 2 that isn't were both restarted sometime today while
the other one remained on the whole time. So I guess old server sessions
remain active but connections are being refused.

Yep, I can replicate that too, mighty odd. Equally odd, I everything is
normal in the computer in the next room next door.

Different and independent connections. Your browser is logged into the web
site but your satellite client software is not logged into the FS servers.

Re: No connection all day Sunday PDT

It's actually weirder then that - I'm logged into the webinterface, while the
computer that I am on shows to be offline - on my desktop the other way
around.

Anyway, I have just basically rebuilt my home network for two hours before
thinking of a network outage and come looking here. DOH!

Lets hope things get back into order soon - and that someone actually
bothers to tell us something.

Re: No connection all day Sunday PDT

Ok - so do you think this is related to the "connecting" issue? The computer
that is online does not have the issue. Or, do you have any suggestions on
what to do from my end?

Thanks to everyone for their input!! I'm new to FS and absolutely loved it
until the last few days. :-(

RE: No connection all day Sunday PDT

I'm having the same issues for about 3 days. All I see most of the time is
"connecting". Most of the files in my library have disappeard. I've tried
reinstalling FolderShare but that didn't seem to help either.

If anyone is aware of a solution it would certainly be helpful. It is a
wonderful concept....when it works.
