| | FolderShare Error Messages I occasionally get an error message that states: "FolderShare was unable to replace this file with a more recent version. Please close the file if you have it open, and check that you have permission to access it" One has two options - either "Retry" or "Exit". If one selects "Exit", a message comes that states - "Are you sure you want to shut down FolderShare?" If one selects yes, FS shuts down. If I close the application who's files are synchronized by FS and then re-open it, the files that were being synchronized have been deleted - they don't exist. I think the whole problem is created in the first place if computer 1 has the files open, and computer 2 has the files open at the same time, changes them, closes them and FS sends the updated files to computer 1 which now has an outdated version open. I don't understand why the now-outdated files are deleted on computer 1, and there are no updated files from computer 2 available on computer 1. Any ideas? |
