| | Disable FolderShare starting on Guest Account?? Ok - been using FolderShare for sometime now (can't live without it). Here's my issue: I've set-up a Guest account for my computer (for the kids) and FolderShare attempts to start-up when logging on as Guest. Does anyone know how to prevent that from occurring? (To be honest, I think one of the recent updates started this as it wasn't an issue a while back). If I enter credentials (like it asks), it also tells me that you can't use FolderShare under the Guest account (that's good). The issue is that it always brings up the warning message. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance, Vinny |

| | RE: Disable FolderShare starting on Guest Account?? Hi Vinny, I'm glad to hear that you are finding FolderShare useful and thanks for your feedback. This is a bug in the current version. Here's how you can fix your Guest account: 1. Log-in as Guest 2. Run regedit 3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run 4. Delete the FolderShare entry Let me know if you find any problems. Thanks, Christoph "V Lee" wrote: Quote: > Ok - been using FolderShare for sometime now (can't live without it). > Here's my issue: > > I've set-up a Guest account for my computer (for the kids) and FolderShare > attempts to start-up when logging on as Guest.
