Vista Tutorial - Foldershare login

I was able to upgrade to Live Sync - (albeit buggy) - and seems to wreak
havoc with my TrendMicro virus scan and firewall... (a piece of the Trend
Micro keeps crashing and then I lose my internet connection altogether).

With Live Sync - it forced me to use my Windows Live ID (which is linked to
an email address that I don't use much at all) and really don't want the
LiveSync stuff linked to that Live ID...

....In any case - what happened to my FolderShare login? Where do I use it?

I am not sure why Sync would effect virus scanning/firewall software. Have
you given Sync access through your firewall? That might help.

LiveID is the standard authentication mechanism for all Windows Live
services. Sync uses this exclusively and no longer supports the old
Foldershare username and passport. This enables us to provide integration
across other Windows Live services and applications.

If you want to use a different Live ID just sign into Sync with that Live
ID, but you will need to recreate your libraries since migration from your
Foldershare account can only happen once. You can also make an existing email
address, like test@xxxxxx, into a LiveID.
