| Guest | what is going on with Live Sync? I have used Foldershare since its launch and I was really happy with it. I even told my clients that maybe Microsoft was starting to gt things right after all. Then out of the blue, live sync is launched and we lost all our shares. That would not be so bad exceot that: 1) Live sync is responsible for wasting 2 days of my time. I finally realized that when Live Sync is on it slows both IE and Firefox to a crawl. To the point where I write a sentence and 10 seconds later it appears on screen. 2) Live sync looks like it's permanently "Signing in". When I mouse over it says: "Windows live sync -Signing in"but I think it never does and all the files I am sharing with the lone survivor of the "purge" are not getting to me or him. Basically, to regain control of my browsers I have to Exit live sync and everything returns to normal. If I launch it again, everything slows down to a crawl again and I get to watch my words appear in this very post about 15 seconds after I type them. What is going on here? Is this thing working or should I abandon it? What a royal mess. Buy a perfectly good piece of software and screw it up royally. I am exiting Live sync now and try to get some work done. |

I suspect it's some combination of Live Sync + something else on your computers...browser plug-in perhaps? Quote: > 2) Live sync looks like it's permanently "Signing in".
