Vista - Re: Bug Inquiry: Newsgroup Messages Don't Display After Sending/Replying

Nope Mark, I just sent one and my preview pane showed the message I responded to.

You sure seem to be have quite a time with this build don't you? I hope you get everything straightened out.

After I post a newsgroup message, the preview pane will not display any other messages in the newsgroup until I click on another newsgroup and then come back. I scan scroll up and down the header list, but nothing displays in the preview pane, and there is no error message (eg: server timeout).

Whoops, I did not describe this issue exactly.

After I send a newsgroup message, I also see the message to which I responded displayed in the preview pane. It's after I move to a different message header in the list that nothing displays. Even if I subsequently return to the header for the message to which I just replied, it will not longer display in the preview pane.

The workaround is simple for me; five quick keystrokes: SHIFT, TAB, DOWN ARROW, UP ARROW, TAB.

Perhaps I will have better luck when I try WLM on a Vista machine, since I've seen issues in this newsgroup that only occur with certain versions of Windows.

I had some problems before with my old install of Vista, but I got a Trojan and decided to format and re-install and got everything new and 99.9% of those problems now seem to have been fixed.
