Supposed to be the replacement for MS Outlook Express 6 (Windows XP, SP2) and Windows Mail (Windows Vista). Windows Mail: The client included with the Windows Vista operating system. MS Outlook Express 6: The client included with Windows XP, SP2; part of MS Internet Explorer 6. Read the popup carefully, and decide if you really want those items, or not. They are not necessary, and I unchecked them when I ran it. After which, you advance through a couple more pop up menus. When you get to the menu for installing products, read carefully again. If all you want is Windows Live Mail, check only that product, and nothing else. As long as you have not got major problems with the current version of Windows Live Mail, the latest version will install over. The message store should be in the same place; but you should back up the old message store anyway. Just in case. Hotmail account in Windows Live Mail (it should automatically select the correct HTTP Mail servers). Then you just drag and drop, or use File > Menu Quote: > Move (or Copy).
