| Guest | Default account for From field Windows Live Mail version 12.0.1606 Is there a way to set the default account for sending with this version ? cause is seems to change depending on the e-mail it receives. For example, I have two accounts A and B. If A sends email to B, and B replys, the default From field changes to A instead of using B. |

| Guest | Re: Default account for From field Replies are sent out on the account that the message being replied to came in on (you can change the account with the little down triangle at left of the from line). The 'default' refers to which account will be used to send a new message, not a reply. It was that way in OE and MinMail also. | Guest | Re: Default account for From field Thanks Michael, but that's not working quite right, if both accounts are defined in your windows live mail. | Guest | Re: Default account for From field Thanks Winston, but I know that, and it's already set that way, but still not working if both accounts are defined in the same wlm. | Guest | Re: Default account for From field See post by Heavenr on 11/30/2007 "To: and From: Address same in reply window" This is the same thing I was talking about in this post. | Guest | Re: Default account for From field Jotajota, Yes, you are correct. I was paying attention to the default account, not the A to B and reply scenario. Validated on both XP and Vista here, like others in the Heavenr post. Thanks for politely correcting me! -- ...winston ms-mvp windows live mail "jotajota" <jotajota@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:1701EB3F-A8F1-415B-8517-7475A70A03F0@xxxxxx Quote: > See post by Heavenr on 11/30/2007 "To: and From: Address same in reply > window" > This is the same thing I was talking about in this post. |
