Vista - Emails with attachments not reaching recipients

I just found out that since changing over to Windows Live Mail none of the
emails I have been sending with attachments (they have been Excel
spreadsheets) have gotten to the recipients. The emails are in my Sent file
as if everything is ok but nobody is getting them. I have had no problem
when sending picture attachments.

I seem to be receiving attachments fine. Its just sending that is having a
problem.

I would appreciate any help! Thanks!

I also have a problem, like you, with attachments (and even long
messages) getting truncated when using WLM with my MSN mail account.
Outlook Express works fine with the same attachments; or if I use
WLM with my hotmail account, that works okay too. I have been
trying to solve the problem with WLM support, but so far no luck. I
would suggest that you contact WLM support using the link under the
WLM Help menu. Maybe if they get enough reports of this problem,
they will be able to isolate and fix it.

I'll need a bit more info to try and track this down for you.
1) what version of wlm are you using?
2) what protocol are you using to send, is it pop/imap/http?
3) how large are these messages? ball park it - I.e. 100k, 500k, 1 meg, 10
megs, 20 megs.
4) do you see any error messages?
5) does the mail arrive without the attachment, or just not arrive at all?

1) Sorry, I am not sure what version. Is there somewhere I can look to tell
you? I just downloaded about 3 weeks ago.

2) I believe I am using pop

3) The attatchments I am trying to send are a little over 200 KB

4) I see no error message

5) The email does not arrive at all. It ends up in my Send box as if it
went through and I don't get any errors. I only found out they weren't going
through after talking to friends waiting for my email and spreadsheet.
