| | Re: What is recovered items Hi, Karl. I don't know the whole answer, but it seems that the recovered items folder holds messages that were in danger of being lost from an unexpected shutdown of WLM. There are no messages in the top-level folder, but you can go down the ladder, expanding each subfolder, until you get to the bottom rung. There you should find one or more messages that you can read. If they are emails, you should be able to move them to your Inbox by pressing Ctrl+A to select them all, then drag them with your mouse. If they are news messages, don't bother; you can't move them into a newsgroup, but they will be downloaded again when you next visit that NG. Once the subfolder is empty, you can collapse the folder tree and delete it with one click. Maybe this answer will suffice until the WLM Team explains it to both of us. ;^} RC -- R. C. Why not open it and see what's in it? Otherwise just close your Storage Folders and remain oblivious of it. Ditto for Quick Views. Implementation details best left hidden IMO.
