Too many inboxes

I am using WLM final release on a WinXp Sp2.

Please how do I get all my mail coming into one Inbox.
Also how do I shut off 'Quick Views'
Keeps showing mail that has arrived and is unread.
Don't like to be nagged as to when to read my mail.

For reasons yet unclear, the Windows Live Mail programmers have not seen fit
to provide a user option to toggle a single Inbox/multiple Inbox choice.

From reading the MSOE help groups, I know that there are a number of people
who must be happy, now that they can use a client with one Inbox per
account; for they surely hounded the helpers for such an option.

All that I can figure out is to collapse the 'Quick View' folders.

Right click 'Quick views', check next 'shows all mail in the inbox of all
accounts'

This was answered earlier, you can't do both at the same time

Re: Too many inboxes

Personally, I kind of like an inbox per account as it helps me keep
organized (I agree though it should be an option), however, I HATE that each
also has it's own junk and deleted folders! Makes it a pain to empty each
one - there needs to be a global junk/deleted option or at least a "clear
all" for the junk/deleted folders I think.

Right Click 'Quick views', click on 'select quick views', check box next to
"All Junk"

Good luck and have fun

Maybe what you want is at Tools | Options | Advanced | Maintenance, where we
can check Empty messages from the "Deleted Items" folder on exit.

But neither this Maintenance screen nor the WLM Help file is clear on the
effect of this setting on the MULTIPLE Deleted Items folders. There's such
a folder for each email account, plus one or more in Storage Folders. In my
experience, this setting seems to cause WLM to empty all of them.

Some other settings on this screen relate to Newsgroup messages, but this
one seems to be only for emails.

Why would I want to click four or more times to delete all folders? It
amazes me that the speed and ease of this feature was dropped from Outlook
Express, and therefore like many others I'm left with no choice but to dump
Windows Live Mail.

Re: Too many inboxes

Perhaps my own comments above were a little harsh, as Windows Live Mail is
(overall) a very good program. Nonetheless an 'All delete' checkbox should be
added to the 'Select Quick Views'.
