| | Re: I would ike to leave the program running on the taskbar Also, you cannot close WLM you just have to minimize it and it will sit in the "Notification Area". If you close it using the X, it will do exactly that and you will not receive any notifications of incoming e-mails. -- ©LarryEș "Peter.R" <Peter.R@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:7ECD07BE-B2B0-4FEF-8E6B-2924778B1620@xxxxxx In Vista, right-click on the Quick Launch Toolbar->Properties->Notification Area [tab]-> un-check 'Hide inactive icons'. Any help greatly recieved function of the "X-Close" button; WLM actually closes, as any other normal application does, when pressing the "X-Close" button. Use the standard "Minimize" button to minimize WLM to the System Tray; same as you would for any rational application. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |
