Clear 'All News' folder in WLM newsgroup reader

I have not subscribed to any newsgroups but when I click the 'All News'
button in the WLM newsgroup reader application, the window displays headers
for all the newsgroup messages I have downloaded. I want to clear this list.
Anyone know how to do it?

TIA,
Bill

RE: Clear 'All News' folder in WLM newsgroup reader

Update: It appears as if this may be a bug. The 'All News' button is supposed
to display all headers from subscribed newsgroups only but instead for me it
displayed all headers from any newsgroup I visited even ones I did not
subscribe to.

I went back and subscribed to each newsgroup that had headers displayed,
went to the newsgroup, and then immediately unsubscribed from the newsgroup.
Lo and behold, the headers were gone but they never should have appeared in
the first place without a way to easily remove them.

I am running Windows Live Mail version 2008 (Build 12.0.1606). How about it
Microsoft?

Re: Clear 'All News' folder in WLM newsgroup reader

I went to Tools, Options, Advanced, Maintenance and reset the counter to 1.
Compacting the database reset the All News.
