Vista - Hotmail with Windows Live Mail

I have searched this group but can't find the answer. My hotmail account
will not work via Windows Live Mail.
Keep getting error messages. Also now in MSN when trying to get my mail it
keeps defaulting to Windows Live Mail (that doesn't work) so I cannot get
any mail.
What are the settings in WLM for Hotmail? The pop3 and the smtp must be
wrong.

In Tools->Accounts->Hotmail->Properties on the server tab I have:

http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp

In my case I upgraded to WLM from Outlook Express and I already had Hotmail
set up in OE. What is your scenario?

You should probably be using HTTP to access your Hotmail (not POP3 and

(a) Remove the Hotmail account
(b) Add an e-mail account
(c) After putting in your Hotmail address, accept the defaults in the

A hotmail account in WLM should automatically be setup for the DeltaSync
server not the server used in OE(even though the http server used in OE may
function)

These are the appropriate servers for an http account by email client and
email domain
