Chinese characters

When I logon to Windows Live Mail via Google home page all is OK!

When I log on to Windows Live Hotmail via MSN home page

the screen shows a mixture of predominately Chinese characters with
some English words.

How can I correct this?

Detailed info. please for an old newbie.

Thanks

Re: Chinese characters

The best I can offer is to left click on Options in the upper right of the Windows Live screen, then at the bottom of the list, left click on More Options. Then under Customize your mail left click on the 2nd item Select language and the fifth language in the list is English. The other possibility if you are using Internet Explorer, is to click on Tools in the upper right and select Options, then on the general tab the Language button should show a list of languages.
Actually, for better information, the Newsgroup for live hotmail is: microsoft.public.windows.live.helpcommunity_platform.feedback

Re: Chinese characters

Sorry on the Hotmail Live Screen it's Options, but on the Windows Live Screen it's Settings in the upper right then click on Services or find All Services, then hover over Hotmail and click on view Hotmail options. after that it is the same as described below. Also here is a link to others with language problem: news:uwPinnWSIHA.5288@xxxxxx
