Message could not be displayed.....

Noticed that there have been many people with this problem but I haven't seen
anyone with a solution to my problem. There had been no previous problems and
I cannot understand why I am having this problem now. I've been using the
full version 12.0.1606 of windows live mail on my laptop (Vista Basic) and it
worked fine up through the 16th of December and retrieved my e-mails fine.
However beginning on the 17th of December it will only show the header of the
e-mail and in the content box it says this:

Message could not be displayed
Windows Live Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this
message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again.

This computer has 100 gig of free space and the memory is 2 gig which is
the maximum for this particular computer. I have not installed any new
programs or made any operational changes. There is no problem with my
computer that I can see. I am running McAffee anti virus and have been for
the past 5 months with no problems and no firewall or e-mail scanning changes
have been made. I have checked windows update for anything on the 16th or
17th which would account for a change in my system but there is nothing for
several days prior so I can't see any problems. Please help me resolve this
matter as I really need Live Mail to work.

Re: Message could not be displayed.....

As a test, uninstall McAfee, reboot, then try WLM again.
If no improvement, you can always reinstall McAfee.

Re: Message could not be displayed.....

Uninstalled Mcafee. Rebooted the computer. Still the same issue. Uninstalled
WLM and rebooted. Then downloaded latest version from this link:
http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview

Installed and then rebooted once again. After restart I signed on and WLM
retrieved all of my folders. Now all the e-mails that were in those folders
that did have content now only show the header with the only content being
the same error message as before "low memory, disc space". Previously only my
new e-mails gave me this error and the older ones were still viewable. When I
click on an individual e-mail it now tells me to go to hotmail to view the
e-mail message. Any other suggestions as I'd really like to get this problem
resolved.

Re: Message could not be displayed.....

You've done everything I would have done.
Perhaps someone else has additional suggestions.
