How to open WLM maximized upon startup.

WLM (1606) opens up in a small window on startup.

Is there a setting to have it open maximized?

Thanks, Wayne

Re: How to open WLM maximized upon startup.

It opens as it was closed last time, i.e., if you close it maximized, it
will open maximized next time.

Hope this helps

Re: How to open WLM maximized upon startup.

Right click on the e-mail Icon and then click on Properties. When that
dialog box opens, where it says "Run", click on the down arrow and then
click on Maximized.

Re: How to open WLM maximized upon startup.

However, you can just stretch the small window to the extent of your screen,
and with a little shifting around for the vertical you can avoid the extra
top border. Then if you close it that way, it will re-open that way next
time.

Re: How to open WLM maximized upon startup.

If you are using Vista with Aero turned on, Mike's suggestion will give you
the transparent Title Bar.

Re: How to open WLM maximized upon startup.

Thanks everyone, but none of these tips work.

I refer to the window upon starting my computer, not how it opens during the
day, when I keep it minized to the tray. It opens fine, then.

This is an annoyance more than a problem, and I'm sure many feel that way.

When I look at my mail first thing, I don't want to see that little strip at
the top of my screen, and then have to open it fully.

Thanks again, Wayne

Re: How to open WLM maximized upon startup.

Did you try my first suggestion? The one about right clicking on the e-mail
icon. You have do it BEFORE you open WLM.

Re: How to open WLM maximized upon startup.

Larry - Your 2nd tip seems to work, twice is a row.

Why doesn't MS make these things obvious?

Of course, now I get the white popup every time I minimize telling me it's
still running. I don't get that with the other settings.

Oh well, nothings prefect! Thanks again, Wayne
