    Sign In at start

When Live Mail is opened, a Windows Live Sign In dialogue box pops up asking
for a log in name and password. Previous log ins have resulted in the
username field being completed already. How do I remove this as it is a
potential security threat? There is no 'forget me' option as in Hotmail. Can
    the dialogue box be removed?

Try pressing F1 and read about signing in. This has nothing to do with
security. If - having understood the advantages of signing in - you want to
stop doing it, go to Options > Connection and select Stop signing in.

    Norman,
I would suspect security is being defined loosely and most likely one of
    these m.o.'s
    Leaving the machine on unattended
    No Windows User ID password
    Shared Windows User ID
