Vista - Quick view is working on the wrong inbox

Hello,
I imported folders from Outlook express. This created new folders under
"Imported Folders" under the Storage folders section of WLM. I deleted
several of the folders that were imported including the Inbox and now my
quick views don't work. When I undelete my inbox the quick view works, but on
the wrong folder. The quick vies now shows me unread emails from the imported
inbox.

This is very odd behavior. Befor I deleted these folders and after the
import the quick views worked correctly on the inbox under the
pop.mail.yahoo.com section.

WLM still seems like it is not ready for Prime Time. I have not control over
these quick views or at least I can not seem to figure out how they work.

I continued searching this community and discovered this is another bug with
the below posted work around:

The treatment for this problem has been posted many times:
Close WLMail
Start > Run > regedit
Find the value called SearchFolderVersion under
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail and delete it.
The value will be restored when you restart, which might take longer than
usual while your Quick views are being rebuilt.
Don't delete any folder under Storage folders until the bug is dealt with in
a future update.
