    Tool bar keep disappearing

    Hi There,
    I run Winxp sp2 and WLM v1,
For a while now and my WLM tool bar keeps disappearing (File, Edit, View...
    bar)
and to view it I have to press either ALT or F10 but it'll disappear again
    after I move the mouse.
This problem started suddenly with another problem which was disappearing of
reading pane and that I managed to fix but only to Inbox folder and problem
still persists with Junk Mail folder also I have to double click message to
mark it as read though I set it to be read after viewing for 10 sec in
    options.
I uninstalled, reinstalled, downloaded another version but the problem still
    as it is...
So, any help is much appreciated,
    Thanks In Advance,
    Khaled

That's how it's supposed to work. If you want the menu bar to be always
visible, click on the icon to the left of the Help question mark at the
right-hand end of the toolbar and select Show all menus.

The ability to view messages in the Reading pane has been removed from junk
folders "for security reasons." I deal with junk by glancing through the
list and hitting 'Not junk mail' for messages I'm sure about and 'Delete'
for ones I'm not sure about. I can then empty the Junk folder without having
to OK a dialogue box, and I can peruse unread messages in my 'Deleted items'
folder to see whether they really were junk or not.

Ctrl-Q will mark a message as read. Try unchecking the option to 'Mark
message read after displaying for n second(s)', restarting WLMail and
checking it again. 10 seconds is a long time - I have mine set to 1 second.

    Re: Tool bar keep disappearing

    Hello Oweby,

In WLM, you should be able to press ALT+M, then click on "Show Menu bar" to have it always show for you.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
