Vista Tutorial - HOW TO ADD NEWSGROUPS INTO WLM?

I was able to subscribe MS Newsgroups. However, when I try to subscribe
other newsgroups, WLM gives me an error. It tells me that my Firewall is not
permitting. I totally disable Firewall (Vista) and tried, still no luck! Any
ideas? My ISP is Verizon.

Are you connecting directly to the Microsoft server?

Or via your ISP or another news source that may be simply "slurping" the
content from the host server? Your Vista firewall should not block the MS
server, even it it does block Verizon or others.

The MS server is free and does not require a logon. Just click here:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...e.mail.desktop

That should bring you right back here, via the MS server.
