| | Small problem when replying or forwarding When replying or forwarding, I'm missing the ">"-indetation from the beginning of each row the forwarded/replied message??? (and yes, it IS checked in Settings->Sending-> both mail and newsgroups "text settings") -- Tumppi ===================================== A lot learned from these newsgroups Helsinki, FINLAND (translations to/from FI not always accurate) |

| | Re: Small problem when replying or forwarding Not heard of this before. The setting for mail is governed by a DWORD called Indent Char under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\mail and its value should be hex 3E (decimal 62, ">"). Likewise for news. If you're happy about tinkering with the registry, try changing it to, say, hex 7C ("|") with WLMail closed and see if that helps. -- Noel "Thomas Wendell" <tumppiwNOSPAM@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:OevNz0cWIHA.5132@xxxxxx Quote: > When replying or forwarding, I'm missing the ">"-indetation from the > beginning of each row the forwarded/replied message??? > (and yes, it IS checked in Settings->Sending-> both mail and newsgroups > "text settings") > > > -- > Tumppi > ===================================== > A lot learned from these newsgroups > Helsinki, FINLAND > (translations to/from FI not always accurate) > > |

| | Re: Small problem when replying or forwarding Not such a small problem, I have checked Include original message in reply, unchecked Reply to messages in the format they were sent, and checked Upload larger images when sending a photo e-mail. Both mail and news are sent in HTML - Settings - Quoted Printable with Allow 8-Bit characters in headers unchecked, Send pictures with messages is checked. Indent message on reply is unchecked for mail and checked for news. That gives me the long vertical bar and small indent in news and no indent or ">" in e-mail, but I have set and unset them several times with no effect. In order to get the indent with ">" Thomas might just be able to change his Plain Text Settings, restart WLM and reset them until it works right. -- Thanks, Mike - Windows XP Pro SP2 WLM 12.0.1606.1023 _______________________________________________ "Ildhund" <jnllb@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:utGg4KdWIHA.5208@xxxxxx Not heard of this before.
