Modify a WLM message

Is there an easy way to modify or cleanup a WLM e-mail message? This was
possible in Outlook, and since I save useful or interesting messages, I
frequently like to change the subject header (to be more accurate), or remove
the gobs of extra pasted text, or remove unneeded attachments.

I have not examined the internal folders or formats that WLM uses for e-mail
messages, but would rather not "go outside" of WLM to modify something (this
may break the internal consistency). I can't find any obvious ways of doing
it in WLM (in Outlook, you simply do "File / Edit message").

I can always "forward" the message to myself and modify it before sending,
but then I lose the "To" and "From" addresses, and it's more trouble than I
would like.

Thanks!

Cliff

Re: Modify a WLM message

No, WLM does not have that feature.

The lack of this feature is one reason that I do not use WLM as my
primary client.

That URL explains how the (Mozilla open source) Thunderbird program
might work for you. I use the suite - SeaMonkey - for my mail handler.
It has a handy EDIT AS NEW option. http://www.seamonkey-project.org/

FireFox is a close cousin - browser only. These utils do not have
connectivity to "Live" services, but may be worth a look.
