Windows Live Mail message store keeps getting corrupted.

About 80% of the time when I open Live Mail, I get the following error
message: "The message store has been corrupted by an application external to
Windows Live Mail". So far Live Mail has been successful in restoring the
data; however, it makes me real uneasy and I worry that one day it will not
be successful in restoring my data.
Anyone have any idea what is causing this or how I can find out what is
causing this?
I am running under Windows XP (Home Ed) and IE 7.

Probably your anti-virus application. Turn off email scanning in your
anti-virus app, and see if the problem persists. Your system will still
be protected by the anti-virus application's real-time scanning
abilities.

Re: Windows Live Mail message store keeps getting corrupted.

Windows Live Mail does not have the ability for separate identities.
If you are not using the same email address.
To keep mail truly separate.
- use a different Windows Logon ID
- use a different email account
