Transferring old emails

I have exported all my emails from outlook into a excel file. I would like to
upload these into my live account without using outlook - is there a way to
do this?

Re: Transferring old emails

By "emails" do you mean email addresses? If so, save the Excel file in
CSV format. Then in WLM, open Contacts, File, Import.

If that's not what you meant, I don't see how messages can be saved in
an Excel file.

Re: Transferring old emails

Nor can messages, if saved, in Excel be uploaded to WLM.

But, if WLM and Outlook are both present.
WLM/File/Import/Messaages/Microsoft Outlook

If Outlook is on a different machine, WLM can be installed on that machine
to import
then WLM can be used to export(File/Export/Microsoft/Windows Live Mail)
- note blank folder is required to export
Copy to jump drive or across network to retain write status
Install WLM on new machine
File/Import etc (browse to jump drive etc)
