How to install windows live mail?

i have downloaded the installer file (suprisingly only 2.28 mb !) from
http://get.live.com/betas/home or http://get.live.com/wl/all . After i
comlete installation, the only thing i find installed is a link with the icon
of a house. when i click it it simply takes me to home.live.com. where is the
mail client? there is nothing on the page either that seems to lead to the
client . i have checked program files too but all i found was this same link.
is windows live mail just some link to an internet website is there really
some mail client?

Re: How to install windows live mail?

Yes there is a desktop client. http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview is the
link to
the page.

Re: How to install windows live mail?

The second link is the correct link
If you chose the option to 'Get Windows Live', this page should have
loaded
http://get.live.com/WL/config_all

A selection should be made only for the programs you wish the unified
installer to download then install..once the selection is complete,
click the orange 'Install' button.
