Maximum Contact Group Size

I have a large and growing family. Right now my group for them has 33
members. Earlier this month, I could send 1 email to all of them. Now I get
a message that it is going to too many recipients.

Does anyone know what the maximum number is to send an email to at one time?
I thought it was 50, but maybe not.

That limit is set by your mail provider.
AFAIK, the email program has no limit on the number of recipients.
