Help Please: Re: Newsgroup attachments

Hi,

I have been experiencing receiving attachments in Live. I can see and
download images, but when files are attached by posters, i.e., zip files, I
am unable to see that they are in the sent message, I know they are there
because the header says they are, and if I go to Forte Agent I can get it
there. However, I have Windows Live Mail, I like the program and would like
to be able to continue using it.

Is there a setting somewhere or in Vista that I can configure? I have gone
so far as to change configuration in my antivirus (Avast) home edition not
to scan for mail in case that is where the problem is, now just have to wait
til someone posts a zip file to test it. I would rather have Avast scanning
my email however.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Harley

Are you looking in the right place - they show at the top just above the
subject line.
I thought I had your problem as I expected to see them under the message.

I think I am looking in the right place, however, next time one is
"supposedly" in the posting I will double check where you suggest.
Thanks for responding.

RE: Help Please: Re: Newsgroup attachments

From "Options" select "Security" Tab, click to turn off "Do not allow
attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus"
