Mail not saved to Sent Items folder

Hi,

I can't seem to find the sent items in Windows Live Mail, the stand-alone
program. Not in the Sent or the Sent Items folder can I find the e-mails I'm
sending. Has anyone seen this issue? The e-mails are not saved when I'm
sending them.

Have you got the option "Save copy of sent messages in the 'Sent Items' folder" checked at Tools->Options...->Send [tab] ?

Yes I have. Everything seems correct, but still no e-mails are saved to the

If this is already selected, right-click on Quick views and select All sent
items. Can you see your sent messages in that Quick view? Sent newsgroup
posts are saved in the Sent items folder under Storage folders (View >
Layout > Folder pane > Show Storage folders) and don't appear under Quick
views.

Also, if you have multiple accounts, make sure you are looking under the
correct account for your sent items. It's happened to me. I thought I was
in one account, but was in a different account and that's where the item
went when I sent it.

It's set to show all. The thing is, when I chose to view all unread e-mails
I can see the sent e-mails. But they seems to be locally stored instead of
on the server. But I have checked the setting that saves the e-mail on
server, and I do have the folder. It's very strange and when I was using
Thunderbird this issue didn't occur. I'm beginning to consider a reinstall
of Live Mail...

Does Live Mail create the Sent Items folder if it's not present.

I just did a total reinstall of the Mail client with no success. Still no
e-mails saved in the sent folder... This is starting to get to me...
