| Guest | Weird Forwarding Behavior I recently set up a Live custom domain, and wanted to switch over from my Comcast e-mail address. As I transition, however, I want to keep receiving my Comcast mail. So I set up Comcast to forward all of my mail to my new Live address, and set Live to automatically sort those messages into a folder. Sounds great, but I usually receive 50+ messages per day to the Comcast address, and since I set up the forward, I've received less than 10 per day. First I checked the Live junk folder, which was empty; then I checked Comcast webmail - it hasn't received any messages since I set up the forward, so presumably it's forwarding them all. Finally, I sent an e-mail to my Comcast account from another address - it arrived immediately to my Live account and was sorted to the Comcast folder. So it appears to be working. Where is the rest of my e-mail going? I hate to think what important things are getting lost! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

| Guest | Re: Weird Forwarding Behavior Make sure you have the "Leave a copy on the server" checked so you can check back every day to make sure all messages are coming through. -- ©LarryEș "drokkon" <drokkon@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:2532F2CA-572E-4DDF-94A6-31979F3E434F@xxxxxx I recently set up a Live custom domain, and wanted to switch over from my Comcast e-mail address. | Guest | Re: Weird Forwarding Behavior It works on my Comcast account, but then there is a place to set it when I log in to my Comcast Webmail account. Guess I should have mentioned that in my original post. DUH! I can't say for certain if everyone has that though. -- ©LarryEș "N.
