thread set to 'watched' doesn't prolongate this prop. to further messages

Hello,
if I answered to a message from myself,
which has the 'watched' attribute set
the message of my answer has not inherited this property.

Why?

Thanks for exchange of ideas for this aspect in Windows Live Mail.

Erhard

How was it set? E.g. are you relying on the option
Mark message threads I start as watched
(in Advanced tab) to do that? Do you have a rule which would do that?
Or are you waiting for the first message to come in and marking it manually?

If the latter which came first the marking of the message or the sending
of your first reply?

It may also be relevant to know how the reply came in.
E.g. did you just hit Enter again in the online newsgroup
after sending it?

Not enough information yet to attempt to reproduce.
Did the Watched attribute propagate to your second reply?

This option is set since I use Live Mail.
I have not defined any rule manually, because there are no problems
normally.

Thank you Robert
