| Guest | Newsgroup posts "stuck in the Outbox"? Hi, WLM Team. Today, I've gotten this message when trying to post to this WLM(d) newsgroup - see the attachment. Note that the top line says, "Some errors occurred..." Then the small window says, "Your message was successfully posted." But then it gives the "Error ID". This reminds me of WM's infamous "Stuck in the Outbox" problem, because that's where the messages (2 so far) are now: in the Outbox. I can read them there, but repeated attempts over the past hour to send them with Synchronize All just get me this same error message. I did send other newsgroup posts to other newsgroups, using both the Microsoft public server and Usenet via my ISP. I've been using WLM 2008 since beta and this is the first time I've had this problem. RC -- R. C. | Guest | Re: Newsgroup posts "stuck in the Outbox"? Nevermind! Thanks again to Dr. Steve Cochran, MVP. At his suggestion, I deleted that one message from the Outbox. Then the others were sent properly. Problem solved. ;<) Before I deleted it, I Copied the entire contents and Pasted them into a new Reply and clicked Send. And it went through just fine, too. Thanks again, Steve. RC -- R. C. White, CPA San Marcos, TX rc@xxxxxx Microsoft Windows MVP (Running Windows Live Mail 2008 in Vista Ultimate x64 SP1) "R. C. | Guest | Re: Newsgroup posts "stuck in the Outbox"? RC.. If it adds anything... In an attempted response to the same thread..I received a similar message(cf. your attachment). The occurrence in that same thread makes me wonder if something else besides WLM is involved(server etc). -- ...winston ms-mvp windows live mail "R. C.
