Outbox error 0x8BEE006

I'm running WLM 12.0.1606 on an XP Pro system.

Whenever I try to attach a photo or use the "add photos" option in a new
email that email gets stuck in the Outbox.

If I delete it from the Outbox and send an email with just text that gets
sent with no problem.

So no photos just text at the moment. This has been happening for several
days now.

The error message is:-

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail.co (xxxxxx) account.

Subject "

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8BEE0006

Well I have a workaround that allows me to send photos again.

I checked the problematic email's message source whilst it was stuck in the
outbox.

It had MS PhotoMail in the header.

I went to the following entry in the registry:-

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\mail

and in there I set Publish Photos to zero

Now WLM sends photos as inline/attachements instead of as PhotoMail

Before I came up with this workaround I uninstalled WLM but the uninstall
doesn't clean out the registry so reinstalling WLM didn't fix the problem.

That registry Value controls whether the popup option dialog box "Turn this message into a photo e-mail?" is displayed each time an image is attached to an e-mail. If the Value Data is set to '0', it won't be displayed. But depending on some other setting, an attached image will either remain as an attachment, or become a photo e-mail each time it is attached.
