Folders not displaying,not updating,general errors

Hi all
I just started using live mail desktop 12.0.1606
I am having problems with the folders showing numbers like there are unread
messages, but there are not.I will move to a folder where i know there are
messages and none are displayed, the folders arent updated when i get new
mail, its invisible. Most of this is fixed by quitting and restarting the
program.

This has got to be the clunkiest program i have ever used.I am going back to
the old windows mail later today. Are these jsut bugs or is the program just
garbage?

It may be just copying a bug I've seen in Windows Mail. Often, there are
messages that haven't been downloaded yet, so they can't be listed, and the
usual ways of triggering a download gets only part of them. It often helps
to
click on Tools, then Get Next 300 Headers several times more than you'd
expect from the number of messages not yet downloaded.

This isnt when using newsgroups, its when using email.I dont get more than 2
or 3 messages at a time and when i bounce between folders, things dont
show,then show after a restart.

Saying 'email' doesn't tell us much.
Is this a pop, IMAP, or http account?
How many accounts are there?

I get this too. 4 accounts, all POP. And WLM periodically "has to
close".
