| | Re: Cannot Sync Mail, Server Error: 0x8000FFFF Hello Pa Bear: Today is June 16, 2008. I have been having this same problem now since June 2nd, 2008. Is there a fix for this? How long will it take to get the Windows Live Mail so that it works correctly again? I can see only the header of my emails in Windows Live. Thanks, Karen "PA Bear [MS MVP]" wrote: Quote: > Translation: Problems on MSN/Hotmail's end; until the problems automagically > clear up, access your account at http://hotmail.live.com. > -- > ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) > MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 > AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net > DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ > > nunuxx wrote: Quote: > > Have not been able to sync mail for a few days now. | | Re: Cannot Sync Mail, Server Error: 0x8000FFFF Hello Winston: I am having the same problem as listed above. Today is 6/16/08. It has been going on since June 2nd, 2008. What do you mean about changing the server? Can you be more specific for me and really walk me through the process. I see your formula, but don't quite understand how to do it. Many thanks, Karen "...winston" wrote: Quote: > If waiting for Hotmail server to resolve its issue is not tolerable, instead > of using the web site(mail.live.com), you can also try 'temporarily' > changing the server to: > http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaS....0.0/sync.aspx > - tools/accounts/<email account>/properties/server > > > -- > ...winston > ms-mvp windows live mail > > > "nunuxx" <nunuxx@xxxxxx> wrote in message > news:8742A65C-5A16-4495-AE3F-8C3B5B023461@xxxxxx > Have not been able to sync mail for a few days now. | | Re: Cannot Sync Mail, Server Error: 0x8000FFFF the solution is to unckeck de "remember password", and to write it manually. do log in, sincronyze one time and you can check the remember password box again if you wish. | | Re: Cannot Sync Mail, Server Error: 0x8000FFFF What is MS doing about this issue! Almost 3 month now my WLM does not work! I find 1000's of people all over the web with the same issue but no fix, no patch, nothing from MS. I've tried removing my password from my account and its now downloading my folders again very slowly but seems still to be locking up although its not actually asked for my password to do this!
