| | Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Error Nu I am getting this error: "Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Error Number: 0×800CCC0F". I am connectiong to IMAPS mailbox. I have no antivirus software installed and no FW installed expect that integrated into Windows Vista. Does anybody know how to solve this problem? Thanks, Lukas |

| | Re: Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Erro The basis of this error is that your computer (more specifically WLM) is having problems communicating with the IMAP server. Can you ping the IMAP server? Double check all your IMAP server configuration settings. Maybe you've misspelled the server name. Also check you're communicating on the right ports. For IMAP that should be port 25. | | Re: Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Erro Communication should by fine as it is happening quite randomly. I am able to receive and send emails. But sometimes WLM and WM are showing this annoying error. The only thing I can do in this situation is to restart WLM. By the way, IMAP is using port 193 and IMAPs is using port 993. | | Re: Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Erro Me too, I get the same message, but only since the day I set up Gmail on IMAP. This is irrespective of whether the focus is on a Gmail inbox or the "unread mail" folder. No idea. Of course, I am using Windows Live Mail 12.0.1601 under Windows MCE 2005, in case that would make any difference. No firewall except the native XP firewall. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |
