Quick Views - All E-Mail shows deleted items!

The biggest problem I had with my Quick Views is fixed, thanks to a hint I
found on this discussion board, thanks! I had an unread e-mail stuck in Quick
Views - Unread E-Mail, which wasn't in one of my accounts anymore. I deleted
the registry key SearchFolderVersion, and that worked great!

But now I have the following: The Quick Views - All E-mail folder shows
literally ALL e-mail: also my deleted items, which aren't in one of my
account anymore.

I'm sure this problem (and its solution) will be here somewhere too, but I
couldn't find it.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Quick Views - All E-Mail shows deleted items!

Do you find that those already deleted messages that are showing in your All e-mail Quick view cannot be opened?

I experienced a similar problem where unread news messages from a newsgroup I had unsubscribed to kept showing in my All news Quick view after I had broken the Quick views. Resetting the Quick views would correct that anomaly until the next time the Quick views would break.

This appears to be another aspect of the Broken Quick views bug, so I suggest that you again delete the registry Value "SearchFolderVersion" at the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail

The Quick views will break if any folder is deleted (in an Account or under Storage folders), if a Feed is deleted, or if one un-subscribes to a Newsgroup.

No, they still can be opened. I emptied my deleted items folder several times
and I also deleted the registry key, but nothing worked.

Re: Quick Views - All E-Mail shows deleted items!

Have you tried deleting them from within the All e-mail view?

Are they in a storage folder? Possibly in a sub-folder under "Storage folders" called "Recovered items" (keep expanding the sub-folders of the recovered items folder to find the messages).

Marking the problem messages as Un-read, and using View->Current view->"Hide read messages" might help to locate them.

If your Storage folders are not displayed, go to View->Layout...->Folder Pane->[check] Show Storage folders.
