| Guest | Keeping Messenger & hotmail/Live separate Can anyone resolve this annoying problem? Whenever I am using MSN Messenger (V 8.5.1302.1018 in case you were wondering) and I click on the hotmail (or live mail or whatever they are calling it these days) link to go to the mail account associated with my MSN ID, it has recently begun to open the page to my hotmail account as though I have already signed in... which I do NOT want it to do. I think it's a security risk of sorts. I don't for instance mind leaving my contact list and MSN Messenger visible on my desktop/screen but all the same I do NOT want anyone who happens to wander by and sees it to ALSO have access to my hotmail account. How can I separate these out again? |

| Guest | Re: Keeping Messenger & hotmail/Live separate Just for your future reference Subop, Hotmail is now called "Windows Live Hotmail". Windows Live Mail is a separate e-mail client that can be installed on XP or Vista. It can be used to access WLHotmail accounts (see: http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview). Also, MSN Messenger is now called "Windows Live Messenger". -- Cheers, Peter (Windows Vista Home Premium with Windows Live Mail 12.0.1606) "There are more things in Heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy." - Shakespeare --------------- "Subop" <Subop@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:F1AD1F73-6452-4045-9D0E-2521A771DD78@xxxxxx
