A mailaccount want be deleted in Windows Live Mail

Is this a known problem? Is there a way. I tried the deletion in the
clickoptions and the one in the menu and also in the accountlist this can be
done. It does not work. It is just this one account, the others work. I can
live with this, but to a programmer these are clues for a bigger a bug.

Hi Bob, I Run Vista Home Premium. Auto run the updates since okt 2007 till now.

I found one user in the WLM forum stuck with an account aswell, with no
solution there. The thread there is called 'delete user'. A lot on hard to
remove items, but not on accounts.

The WLM-account (mine), was attached to a Hotmail account. I had this
problem that is stated elswere on the forum about being asked to synchronise
sending, where there were no items to send. So I wanted to break down the
account and start over, to see if I could repair that one. I had all my mail
in Hotmail, so deleted all the items in the WLM-account.
Most likely: I deleteted the mailadres in the account, via Extra, Accounts,
Properties. Back to accounts, rightclick deleted account. Done so far and the
account there removed. ( Removed the mailadress first to not being suprised
by update routines.) Launched my new account then on the same Hotmail, yes I
know mail is tricky.
When I came back to the account/folderlist I still saw the deleted account
and another one with the same name with a 1 added to the name.

Ofcourse I tried several to delete on either ways the old account there,
with no result. Then I removed the new account again, but right there in the
list by the rightclick option.

Some weeks later having problems signing in with the online account, I liked
to have the items under hands on my laptop, so, for that same Hotmail, made
an account again in WLM. The old one still in the list.
When I came back to the list there was the new one now with exactly the
same name. My WLM is running well now with no errormessages. But now
something important: When I click the old account folder, there is an
errormessage on the mailmessagescreen, that tells me to download folders
before I can read anything. With a nice grayed Download button.

You were right Bob, there was a lot more to do and tell. Maybe I ow you more
about option settings and doing other downloads and program runnings, but you
will ask me than ok? Pleased to see your post.
