Vista Tutorial - How can revert or reconvert WLM .eml files back to OE .dbx files?

Windows Live Mail renamed all my .dbx files to .eml files and now are only
are opened with WLM-
It's imposible to view or open them with Outlook Express
Maybe i did not inform myself properly before installing WML but I don like
it...

I can no longer open any of the renamed .dbx to .eml files with Outlook
Express.
Does anyone knows how to revert or reconvert eml to .dbx files?

Will uninstalling Window Live Mail make me loose my files?

Your old .dbx files should still be intact and located wherever the OE store
folders were set. During installation of WLM it detects OE and brings over
all of your messages and they are converted to .eml files in the WLM store
folder. You should still be able to open OE and access the messages from
that time.

If you are asking about converting messages that were downloaded by WLM
after the conversion, I don't know of anyway to do that. The only options
for Export in WLM are to Outlook or WLM.

The method I use is to drag & drop the eml file from explorer to the window
of an opened folder, i.e "Import Messages".

WLM doesn't use or convert .dbx files. It will import the data contained in
..dbx files. Your .dbx files should still be wherever they were.
If you want to move WLM email back to OE, simply drag the .eml files into
the OE folders.
