Reply Hotmail problem:

I have a Dell Dimension 8200 with XP SP2, with DSL connection 160gb
hard drive with 132gb free yet when I reply to emails it doesn't give
me the full screen like when I'm writing an email to someone.

Under Vista, the way to handle this you be to start such a reply, then drag
the edges on the new message window to the edges of the screen (the
maximize button doesn't help), then send the message. WLM will probably
remember the resulting screen size.

I tried that but it doesn't work. I was having a problem whenever I
tried to respond to an email the screen was reduced to 1/8th of an
inch but now it's about 1 inch so I guess I can live with that.

Re: Reply Hotmail problem:

I'm having exactly the same problem when I reply to or forward my Hotmail.
The message window reduces to 1/8 of an inch, I'm having to type my replies
in Works then paste it in to the window. It's been like that for a week. Help!

I've been having the same trouble, as well. I'm guessing Hotmail changed
something... probably trying to force us to go to a paid account. I've
noticed if I hit the change text, it'll go to a more open screen, but then
the print becomes rather tiny.

Also having problems lately with the reply going WAY across the screen,
instead of being on a normal size page.

Would be great if someone could tell us the trick to fixing this!

More likely one of the perennial problems with the Hotmail servers.

Windows Live Hotmail breaks on occasion. You get what you pay for.

It would be helpful if you explained which email program you are using.

Not the OP's problem. The word size does not appear
in either the procedure or the comments it spawned.
And the string full only appears inside the word successfully.

<eg>

BTW I have no idea from the vague symptom descriptions
what you all are seeing but beside the correct suggestion
to resize the window what has been tried and why didn't
it help?

Also, what if anything does this have to do with WLMail,
the product discussed in this newsgroup?
