Import PST Outlook file from a different machine

Is there anyway to import .PST files from Outlook running on a different
machine to the one running WLM? Both machines running XP. However, when I
attempt to import into WLM from an Outlook source, I get an 'Messages cannot
be imported from the MAPI client' error. So cannot get as far as trying to
open the PST file.

Re: Import PST Outlook file from a different machine

The only way to directly import a .pst file, is with Outlook installed on
the computer running WLM.

The other way is to import the Outlook data into Outlook Express (on the
computer with Outlook). Then copy the .wab & .dbx files to the computer
running WLM, and import them into WLM.

Re: Import PST Outlook file from a different machine

The Office 2007 Standard trial(included Outlook) can be installed temporarily on the WLM machine. Once the pst file is on the newer
machine(follow method in Outlook Help or the online help), then WLM will perform the import task.
