3 Questions

Just transferred from Outllook Express to WLM. Very nice! Three questions I
can't find in the Help section:

1) What is the definition of "Compact View"? This doesn't come up in Help
at all, and I can't immediately see a difference with a folder whether it's
checked for this option or not.

2) I really miss the progress bar in OE that shows messages downloading or
uploading. A really big file can appear like a 'stuck' server; with the
progress bar you were able to see which out of the total messages was
downloading. Just a comment.

3) I have 5 e-mail accounts on this WLM installation. Really nice to see
an overview of them all in that left pane without having to change
identities, like in OE. One of my work accounts gets an inordinate amount of
Spam, which WLM manages to filter into the Junk folder very nicely, thank
you. Is there any way to NOT have items in the Junk folder (only) cause the
tray icon to show new mail received?

Thanks.

Move you mouse slowly to the left hand edge of the Message list. When the
pointer changes to left /right arrows, drag it leftwards. That's Compact
view - useful if you don't have too many folders in the Folder pane.

When a Send/Receive is underway, you should see a status message at the
bottom right-hand corner of the window. If you don't, select View > Status
bar. A *single* click on the status message will bring up the progress
report you're looking for. If you expand the left hand column in the
progress window, you get even more info about what's happening.

Unfortunately, no. A new message is a new message, junk or no. This may be
changed in a future version, as many people have complained about it. Please
use Help menu > Send Feedback (web) to tell the team that you're unhappy
with this feature - the more users that grumble, the greater the likelihood
of MS doing something about it.

Or click two times (attention: no double-click) at 'Send/Receive' or
'Synchronize all'. That works fine for me, less mouse movement and there is
no need for activating the Status line at the bottom of the window (which
however is always active in my case ;-)).
