| | Blocked Sender list issue I spent a lot of time adding all my junk mail to block senders list, and later when I pulled Windows Live Mail back up, my blocked senders list was empty. Is this normal? Or is there a setting I need to change? |

Is this normal? Or is there a setting I need to change? etc will synchronize with those in Hotmail, so log on to Hotmail on the web and see if the list is there (at Options > More options > Safe and Blocked Senders > Blocked Senders). Blocking senders of junk mail will often not help very much, because real spammers tend to use throwaway addresses or false ones, so blocking them will have no effect. Let the junk filter deal with it. -- Noel |

| | Re: Blocked Sender list issue To add to Noel's response Additionally, the sending address may have been spoofed to be the same as the recipient, thus another waste of effort and another valid reason to maintain an accurate and up to date Contact list and maximize the potential of the Junk Mail filter and its related configuration options. -- ...winston ms-mvp windows live mail "mrpwrp" <mrpwrp@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:885E68B6-E376-44E0-85F3-0B191E7A6390@xxxxxx Quote: > I spent a lot of time adding all my junk mail to block senders list, and > later when I pulled Windows Live Mail back up, my blocked senders list was > empty.
