| | Live Messenger doesn't work with User account I have a Dell Dimension 8200 with XP SP2 DSL connection. Recently I thought it best to establish a user account to protect my administrator account. However when I did so I found that my Windows Live Messenger didn't work. I tried to download the latest version but it came back saying that only the Administrator has this authority. Also the computer was much much slower than on the Administrator side although it had much less. In addition, I was able to go into Hotmail via My MSN and when I tried opening up a email I recieved it went directly to reply without showing the message. I tried several times and it did the same thing. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the recent issue of Hotmail from Microsoft and should I just wait until next week and try again? I use Live Messenger to access my Hotmail account and thats all but it seems to make the computer run faster and without it I can't access the Internet on the Administrators side. I don't like using Windows Live Mail at all and prefer the classic version. Thoughts/Suggestions Robert |
