Re: Question concerning copying from the text body

Tools, Options, Send, News Sending Format, Plain Text Settings,
"Indent the original..."

Newsgroups by default are plain text. Are you trying to paste
a graphic image? Pasting plain text works fine here.

Re: Question concerning copying from the text body

Hi, Warren.

Gary obviously meant "Include message in reply". ;^}

Re: Question concerning copying from the text body

Perhaps, but why would the OP's email replies include the original,
but newsgroup posts did not?

Re: Question concerning copying from the text body

Hi, Gary.

Good question! I missed that point.

So far as I can see, there's only ONE place in WLM to set that "Include
message..." option. And it should apply to both mail and news. So I don't
know why it would work in mail but not in news.

We are actually looking at two different places on that Tools | Options |
Send page. I'm looking at the 4th box under "Sending". You're looking
further down on the page at News Sending Format, where we set the ">"
character and indent the copied text. The Mail Sending Format is separate,
but there's only the one checkbox for whether to copy the message at all.

It would help if the OP would post back and tell us how all 3 of those
options are set.
