I did as you suggested.... and everything seemed to work better untill I
tried to send an email from the gmail account.

I am now getting the following error message:

The connection to the server has failed.
Subject 'test'
Server: 'smtp.gmail.com '
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 465
Secure(SSL): Yes
Socket Error: 10060

This seems to be going round in circles!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Re: Gmail problem

Using Pop3 or Imap for Gmail.
Your error message indicates the former.
If not already done, logon to your account on the Gmail web site and enable Pop3.
